MASH END TERMINALS
MAX-Tension TL-3 Gating End Terminal
FEATURING SABERTOOTH™ TECHNOLOGYMASH TL-3 COMPLIANT GUARDRAIL END TREATMENT FEATURING SABERTOOTH™ TECHNOLOGY
The MASH compliant MAX-Tension™ tangent end terminal, with Sabertooth technology, features the next level of impact performance and an ultra-slim design. The system utilizes a tension-based design along with an energy absorbing coupler that features an all new cutting tooth design. When impacted head-on, deceleration is controlled by friction developed in the tension cables and by cutting the downstream guardrail panels. When a side impact occurs, tension cables can help safely redirect a motorist away from the hazard.
In addition, the MAX-Tension terminal utilizes standard guardrail components for significant savings in inventory and maintenance costs. Nuisance impacts during snow removal and maintenance operations can also be minimized due to the narrow design of the MAX-Tension Impact Head.

The MAX-Tension Median Terminal also utilizes standard guardrail components for significant savings in inventory and maintenance costs. In addition, a majority of smart-parts are interchangeable within the MAX-Tension family of end terminals to lower inventory costs even further.

NCHRP 350 End Terminals
X-Tension Non-Gating End Terminal
THE ONLY REDIRECTIVE, NON-GATING END TERMINALNCHRP 350 TL-3 Non-Gating Performance.
The X-Tension Terminal has been specifically engineered for easy installation and maintenance cost savings. Superior redirective, non-gating performance means clear zone grading begins at post one rather than post three on conventional gating terminals. The System design consists of a high percentage of common guardrail components and a lightweight impact head. These features combined with interchangeability between tangent and flared systems helps keep inventory costs low, results in less installation hours, less grading hours and repair cost savings. The X-Tension Terminal is available with either wood or steel posts and with either wood or composite blockouts.
