  • Smooth, continuous upper surface for safer hand-trailing.
  • Long cane users can tap confidently. Space between bottom and ground is less than 2″; reduces potential for trapped cane tips.
  • Accepts pedestrian aids like warning lights and Audible Information Devices.
  • Retroreflective sheeting helps guide pedesrtrians safely through work zones.
  • Flat vertical surface (the front, as shown) eliminates obstacles, like those found in most barricades.

The effectiveness of this unit has been repeatedly supported by independent testing to demonstrate distinct changes in motorist behavior and accident incidence following installation.[/vc_column_text][vc_tabs][vc_tab title=”PI Sheet” tab_id=”1393947802990-0-9″][invicta_calltoaction primary_line=”Product Information” secondary_line=”From the Manufacturer” label=”Download” url=”http://www.impactrecovery.com/products/ped_in_a_bag/” target=”_blank” icon=”icon-info”][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Manual” tab_id=”1393947803187-0-7″][invicta_calltoaction primary_line=”Installation Manual” secondary_line=”From the Manufacturer” label=”Download” url=”http://www.impactrecovery.com/products/ped_in_a_bag/” target=”_blank” icon=”icon-wrench” css_animation=”appear”][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Quote” tab_id=”1393948784014-3-8″][invicta_calltoaction primary_line=”Request A Quote” label=”Quote” link_type=”page” page_id=”1324″ icon=”icon-thumbs-up” css_animation=”appear”][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”More Info” tab_id=”1393947803381-0-1″][invicta_calltoaction primary_line=”Find Out More” secondary_line=”From the Manufacturer” label=”More” url=”http://www.impactrecovery.com/products/ped_in_a_bag/” target=”_blank” icon=”icon-circle-arrow-right” css_animation=”appear”][/vc_tab][/vc_tabs][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][invicta_heading primary_line_html_elem=”h3″ alignment=”left” size=”small” primary_line=”Omni-Ped® Pedestrian Crosswalk Marker” primary_line_keywords=”ADA Pedestrian” secondary_line=”FOUR-SIDED PEDESTRIAN MESSAGING CENTER” secondary_line_keywords=”FAMILY, CRASH CUSHIONS”][vc_column_text]Omni-Ped provides enhanced conspicuity for both signalized and unsignalized intersections, in order to alert motorists to local laws concerning yielding to or stopping for pedestrians in crosswalks. The ADA is a Federal law that requires that pedestrians with physical and/or mental disabilities be accommodated not only in completed, publicly accessible facilities, but also during times of construction or improvement. All pedestrians, including the disabled, should be provided with safe, accessible, and reasonably convenient paths that replicate as nearly as practical the most desirable characteristics of the existing pedestrian circulation facilities when temporary traffic control (TTC) zones are planned and set up.

MUTCD Section 6D.04: If the TTC zone affects the movement of pedestrians, adequate pedestrian access and walkways shall be provided. If the TTC zone affects an accessible and detectable
pedestrian facility, the accessibility and detectability shall be maintained along the
alternate pedestrian route.[/vc_column_text][invicta_partners blackandwhite_effect=”yes” logo_1=”1408″ logo_2=”1338″ name_2=”Plastic Safety Systems” link_2=”http://plasticsafety.com/” name_1=”Impact Recovery Systems” link_1=”http://www.impactrecovery.com/”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
